The flowers, the rings, the beautiful gowns and handsome tuxes, the love: Every detail of a wedding makes me smile, which is why I love to photograph them! I have been attending weddings in a professional capacity since I was strong enough to carry my father’s photography equipment for him. Over the years of my training and now in my own career, I have yet to leave at the end of a reception and not feel a sense of happiness and joy for new beginnings.
Since every couple is unique, I like to meet with them for a fun photo session before their wedding. Call them engagement photos, but really this is the perfect way to get to know one another a little before your special day (not to mention for you to become familiar with me taking your picture!). On the big day, I will view your wedding with a photojournalistic eye as well as a fine art perspective. Sometimes there is a beautiful portrait just waiting to be made! When that is the case I work quickly and efficiently in order to get you back to your celebration. It’s your party! Photographing a wedding is an honor and a tremendous responsibility. One thing I have learned is to expect the unexpected during the day. Sometimes, no matter how much time and effort goes into perfecting each detail, the most memorable moments are unintended. Along with all of the perfect details, secret kisses, and joyful faces, I am there to catch those unexpected moments for you to cherish forever! Truly, your wedding is one of the most significant and memorable times in your life. I photograph weddings because it is what I love to do.
